The B's are BACK! Casey Gilbert and Emily Nash (the anti-alpha females... beta b*tches, if you will) present a night of song that embodies the good, the bad, and the ugly facets of living with anxiety as an actor and human in the most anxious city in the world cue The Schuyler Sisters. Featuring songs from “The Prom,” “Waitress,” and other neurotic tunes, it’s sure to raise your blood pressure (and/or make you happy you’re not them).
Casey and Emily began as work wives at a children’s enrichment center on the Upper East Side (talk about anxiety) and immediately bonded over their shared neuroses. What started as a joke about creating an original anxiety musical (Beta Blockers: #TooStressedToBeBlessed) has evolved into this cabaret that they’re very stressed about. Accompanied by the incredible Owen Pelesh, they managed to get their act together (mostly) once before, so hopefully they can do it again on September 28th.
A note from Casey and Emily: PLEASE COME TO OUR SHOW!!!!!
$10 Ticket in Advance & a 2 Drink Minimum in the Cabaret Theatre $15 Ticket at the Door (plus service fee) & a 2 Drink Minimum in the Cabaret Theatre
*Drinks Must be purchased In the Cabaret Theatre to count towards the Minimum.
